KRAFTON Launches inZOI in Early Access – The New Life Sim on the Block

With the life simulation genre of gaming firmly being held by Electronic Arts’ The Sims franchise for many a decade now, there are a few competitors looking to shake things up in the genre, and providing gaming audiences with new beings, locales and systems to lord over. The latest comes from KRAFTON, with their life simulation game inZOI officially entering Early Access on PC via Steam.

During the Early Access period, inZOI is available for purchase at $39.99 USD or local equivalent, with all updates and downloadable content offered at no additional cost until the game reaches full release.

At launch, inZOI supports 13 languages, including English, Korean, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), and Polish. Players can view the translation completion rate for each language within the game. KRAFTON has indicated an ongoing commitment to improving and expanding language support to provide a more seamless experience for a global audience.

Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim, CEO of inZOI Studio and the game’s Producer and Director, reflected on the game’s development and its early access debut, sharing:

I created and nurtured inZOI with great care as if it were my child, though it still has a lot of room for improvement. As inZOI takes its first steps into the world, I feel both proud and somewhat anxious – hoping it won’t stumble or get hurt. It would be deeply appreciated if you could watch over the game with warmth and support. As we begin early access for inZOI, we will engage sincerely with players across the globe to continually improve the game, one step at a time.

inZOI features over 250 customisation options, more than 400 mental elements, creative tools powered by on-device generative AI, and “Smart Zoi,” which utilises Co-Playable Character (CPC) technology. The game also makes use of Unreal Engine 5 in hopes of delivering realistic visuals.
