Nippon Ichi Software America (NIS America) has announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon will be released in Fall 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
This latest entry in the long-running Trails series reunites players with Van Arkride and the members of Arkride Solutions as they face a new crisis that could impact the entire continent of Zemuria. The game’s narrative unfolds against the backdrop of Zemuria’s first attempt at space exploration, which draws the attention of powerful factions and long-standing characters from across the series.
Following an unexpected invitation from the Marduk Institute, Van joins forces with Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer and Father Kevin Graham in a high-tech training operation. As the operation develops, it gradually reveals secrets deeply entwined with Zemuria’s foundations. Each of the three characters follows a different path, yet all are connected by the same overarching question: what lies beyond the horizon?
A Limited Edition of the game is also available for pre-order through the NIS Online Store. This version includes a mini soundtrack, art book, SteelBook, and a themed “Grim Timekeeper” acrylic clock.
