Ize Press has announced that the first volume of the English print edition of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, an apocalyptic fantasy novel by singNsong, will be released on 22 July 2025. The volume will also be available in ebook and audiobook formats.
Ize Press has also shared the cover for the upcoming novel release. The English release will feature a cover design incorporating embossing, debossing, and silver foil accents. The die-cut covers will showcase full-colour illustrations originally used in the Korean edition. According to the publisher, the design aims to appeal to both Western genre fiction readers and fans of the original series. Volume 1 will include chapters 1 to 25 of the original webnovel.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint follows Dokja Kim, an ordinary office worker who finds himself in the midst of an unfolding apocalypse that mirrors the events of an obscure webnovel he is the only known reader of. As he navigates the deadly trials presented to him and fellow passengers during a routine commute, Dokja uses his knowledge of the story’s plot to survive.
The novel is the source material for the webcomic of the same name, published in English by Ize Press on WEBTOON. The comic has received over 450 million views and has prompted further adaptations, including an anime and live-action film currently in development. The story seeks to blend modern apocalyptic survival elements with themes drawn from global mythology, folklore, and litRPG mechanics.
