While Bandai Namco’s The Idolm@ster franchise in the modern day has been found on a variety of multimedia formats including smartphone games, console games, manga, anime, soundtracks and much more – the series was founded as an arcade game in arcades across Japan. While they never returned to arcades with a proper release of its sequels, a new title dubbed The Idolm@ster TOURS (The Idolm@ster: To You Radiant Smile) is set to change that.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that The Idolm@ster TOURS will be available in arcades nationwide across Japan starting 26 March 2025.
This is a crossover of many of the gaming chapters in the series’ history, featuring (at least three) characters from each the original games, Cinderella Girls, Million Live, SideM and Shiny Colors, with more to be added post-launch.
