Playstack and LocalThunk in coordination with Ubisoft have today announced that characters from the Assassin’s Creed series are being introduced to Balatro, the roguelike poker game, as part of the latest update, Friends of Jimbo 4. The free update is now available to download.
As part of the update, Balatro players will be able to replace traditional face cards (Kings, Queens, and Jacks) with three characters from the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Among these are Ezio Auditore (King of Spades) and Jacob Frye (Jack of Spades), alongside Fujibayashi Naoe (Queen of Spades), a new protagonist from Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
This update comes ahead of Assassin’s Creed Shadows launching worldwide on 20 March 2025.
