UNYIELDER Prologue Demo Now Available for Steam Next Fest

TrueWorld Studios and Shueisha Games have released a new playable prologue demo for UNYIELDER, ahead of its full launch on Steam in 2025. The demo offers an expanded look at the game’s boss-rush rogue-looter FPS mechanics, allowing players to experience intense, high-speed combat while carrying over part of their PRETENDER’s upgrades—including Mastery Skills and Weapons—to the full release.

Pitched as a fast-paced first-person shooter that emphasizes precision, movement, and adaptability, UNYIELDER’s prologue demo introduces players to some of the environments, weapons, and enemies they will be able to use in the final release. Players can test an enhanced perk system, experiment with weapon mods, and experience a story-driven introduction to the world of EREBUS.

The demo features new bosses, including a fresh take on familiar foes and the newly introduced IMPERIUM adversary, ROOK. Additionally, players can explore multiple levels such as WATCHTOWER, DOCKSGRAVE, CAVITY, and DEPOT, each designed to offer strategic combat encounters. The HOUSE OF CARDS also serves as the player’s base, where they can upgrade their character and retrieve stored weapons.

Abizer Imran, CEO of TrueWorld Studios, reflected on the development process in the lead-up to the demo’s release, stating:

UNYIELDER is a culmination of the passion and hard work from our team here in Singapore and our international partners to bring a refreshing twist to the single-player roguelite FPS genre! We are grateful to the players who tried the early demos and shared feedback to help us make this game great!

John Davis from Shueisha Games added:

We’re excited to welcome players into the world of UNYIELDER with this demo! Our friends at TrueWorld have crafted a truly unique take on the roguelite genre, delivering an experience that is intense, challenging, and immensely rewarding. The response at events in 2024 has been amazing thus far, and we can’t wait to hear what the online community thinks!
