Hayes Theatre Co Announces Cast for 2025 Production of The Producers

Date:

Joshua Robson Productions, in association with Hayes Theatre Co, has revealed the cast and creative team for the upcoming production of The Producers, a musical comedy by Mel Brooks. The production is set to open at Hayes Theatre Co on 29 March 2025, with tickets now available via the official Hayes Theatre Co website.

The new Hayes Theatre Co production will see Anton Berezin (The Phantom of the Opera, Evita) take on the role of Bialystock, while Des Flanagan (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) portrays Bloom. Alexandra Cashmere will make her Hayes Theatre debut as Ulla.

The cast also features Blake Erickson (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical) as Roger De Bris, playwright Jordan Shea as Franz Liebkind, and Mikey Sakinofsky (The Tempest) as Carmen Ghia. Wendy-Lee Purdy (Hello Dolly! at the London Palladium) will play Hold-Me-Touch-Me. The ensemble includes Spencer Cliff, Clancy Enchelmaier, Genevieve Goldman, Jordon Gordon, Ashton Lash, Joe Meldrum, and Paloma Renouf.

The creative team is led by director Julia Robertson (Metropolis), with Shannon Burns (Ride the Cyclone) as choreographer and Osibi Akerejola as musical director.

Speaking on the production, director Julia Robertson shared:

The Producers is not just a show—it’s a call to arms wrapped in glorious show tunes, sequins and a whole lot of laughs. It’s a group therapy session where no one has to talk about their feelings, and instead everyone collectively agrees that an outrageously camp, singing, tap-dancing Hitler is the best way to deal with existential dread
