XSEED Games has unveiled the first English-language details about the cast of characters for the upcoming game The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-. This announcement introduces 12 members of the Special Defense Unit, a group of students tasked with protecting their academy for 100 days.
Developed by TooKyo Games Inc. and Media.Vision Inc., The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- blends adventure and tactical RPG elements with a narrative created by Kazutaka Kodaka (Danganronpa) and Kotaro Uchikoshi (Zero Escape). The storyline promises tense, despair-filled scenarios and multiple endings, as players navigate the lives of students forced to balance their academic routines with battles against mysterious invaders.
The newly revealed cast includes:
Takumi Sumino / “Everyman”: The story’s protagonist, a seemingly ordinary high schooler who finds his strength in protecting others.
Eito Aotsuki / “Voice of Reason”: Takumi’s closest ally, valued for his intellect and dedication to his friends despite his fragile health.
Darumi Amemiya / “Manic Emo Dream Girl”: A fan of killing-game stories with a dramatic flair and fascination with death.
Ima Tsukumo / “Twin – Big Brother”: A lighthearted joker whose true focus is fiercely protecting his younger twin sister.
Kako Tsukumo / “Twin – Little Sister”: A curious and spacey younger twin with a love for mystery stories.
Kurara Oosuzuki / “Rich Girl Among Rich Girls”: A wealthy and proud student, always seen wearing a mysterious tomato mask.
Yugamu Omokage / “Teenage Assassin”: A trained assassin with a dark fascination for his craft, preferring to kill with “love.”
Kyoshika Magadori / “Ninja Samurai”: A modern-world outsider and samurai devoted to her katana.
Gaku Maruko / “Self-Centered Mood Maker”: A self-serving yet oddly endearing character who looks out for others once he lets his guard down.
Tsubasa Kawana / “Star Mechanic”: A bright and lively mechanic with a weakness for stressful situations.
Hiruko Shizuhara / “Ice Queen”: The unit’s leader, known for her cold demeanour and merciless combat style.
Sirei: A robotic principal and commanding officer who directs the Special Defense Unit in their battles.
The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- will be published physically and digitally for the Nintendo Switch in the Americas by XSEED Games. Additionally, Aniplex Inc. will publish the game globally on Windows PC via Steam and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe.
