Tokyo Indie Games Summit 2025, a hybrid event celebrating indie games from Japan and beyond, has announced its initial lineup of exhibitors for its 2025 showcase. The event will take place on March 8th and 9th in Kichijoji, Tokyo next year.
The summit is set to contributions from a range of developers and publishers, including Phoenixx Inc., Bandai Namco Studios Inc. BYKING, BeXide, CRI Middleware Co., Ltd., G-Mode Corporation, KADOKAWA, MyDearest, room6, Shochiku Co., Ltd., Scooter Films and Yokaze. Alongside these participants, the event collaborates with production partners like Digital Hollywood Studio and make.ctrl.Japan. Partnerships with organizations like Digital Games Expo and Bandai Namco’s GYAAR Studio further seek to bolster the summit’s indie game focus.
Next year’s event aims to expand on 2024’s successes by increasing exhibition space and continuing its dual-format approach. The first day will cater to industry professionals for networking and business development, while the second day opens to the public.
Event founder and Phoenixx CEO Kazunori Sakamoto emphasized the growing platform’s potential, sharing:
There was so much creativity on display during last year’s TOKYO INDIE GAME SUMMIT, and it is a joy to know that we’re able to provide an even larger platform than we had last year to showcase even more titles than before. Many thanks to this year’s partners who help make this event possible. We have more surprises to share as we approach March; stay tuned!
