The latest update for World of Warcraft: The War Within, content patch 11.0.7: Siren Isle, is now live. This update introduces a range of new content to current players, including a new zone, additional rewards, and new story developments.
Aligned with its namesake, this update will see players journey to the Siren Isles, a newly discovered zone teeming with secrets and dangers. Here, they will team up with goblin, earthen, and Arathi expedition teams to investigate the mysterious “singing crystal” at the heart of the island.
Other key features of the Siren Isle update include:
New Currency and Rewards
Players can earn Flame-Blessed Iron, a currency that can be used to purchase items such as mounts, transmog appearances, pets, and catch-up gear for alternate characters.
New Gear Item: Cyrce’s Circlet
A unique ring, Cyrce’s Circlet, is available through the introductory questline for the Siren Isle. Over time, additional quests will enhance the ring’s abilities. Players can also utilise Singing Citrines—customisable gems that can be added or removed from the ring to grant special power effects.
New Story Campaign Chapters
The update continues The War Within’s narrative with new chapters focusing on the aftermath of Dalaran’s destruction. It also includes a prologue that builds anticipation for the forthcoming Undermine(d) update (11.1).
New Character Customisation Options
Human and Kul Tiran characters can now choose Arathi ear options via the in-game barbershop.
