In celebration of 30 years since the original PlayStation’s launch, Sony Interactive Entertainment has unveiled the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection, a limited edition lineup of PS5 hardware and accessories inspired by the classic design of the first PlayStation console. These nostalgic designs commemorate the console’s iconic debut on December 3, 1994.
Available from 21 November 2024, the collection features a range of limited edition PlayStation consoles and accessories. The designs incorporate the original PlayStation’s grey colour scheme and set out to offer a modern take on the console’s classic look. The goodies on offer are listed below, with limited supplies of each:
PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle
This bundle includes a PS5 Pro Console with a 2TB SSD and Wi-Fi 7, as well as limited edition accessories:
- DualSense wireless controller
- DualSense Edge wireless controller
- DualSense Charging Station
- Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately)
- Vertical Stand
Special collector’s items included:
- Original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing

Only 12,300 units of this bundle will be available for purchase, with each console etched with a unique number representing the original PlayStation’s launch date.

For those preferring a more affordable experience, this bundle features a PS5 Digital Edition console with a 1TB SSD and includes:
- DualSense wireless controller
- Console Cover for a Disc Drive (Disc Drive sold separately)
- Vertical Stand
The same set of collector’s items as the Pro bundle is also included.
