Developer Artificer together with publisher Devolver Digital have released their new game, Sumerian Six, a character-based real-time stealth tactics adventure to market. The game is now available for purchase on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG exclusively on PC for $29.99.
Sumerian Six is set in an alternate version of World War II, where players lead The Enigma Squad, a team of six scientists-turned-commandos, each with distinct abilities. The squad is tasked with defeating Nazi General Hanz Kammler and recovering a mysterious material known as Geiststoff.
The game unfolds over ten chapters, each offering a progressively evolving narrative-driven experience which aims to blend historical locations with tactical stealth gameplay. Players must navigate Nazi strongholds, evading guards and using the unique powers of each team member to overcome more formidable foes. Characters like Rosa Reznick, a chemist capable of creating carcinogenic concoctions, and Wojtek Galica, known as “The Werebear,” are some of the characters who will join you in your task.
Players will encounter various enemies, including heavily armed, mutated, and supernaturally enhanced forces. The storyline also explores occult-scientific weapons and ancient Sumerian artefacts connected to the Nazis’ sinister plans.
