Magical Delicacy Now Available on Nintendo Switch

The adventurers’ town of Grat is now open to Nintendo Switch players as developer sKaule’s newest project Magical Delicacy has launched on the platform. Combining elements of metroidvania-lite gameplay with a cooking simulation, this non-violent title invites players to explore a charming seaside town filled with witchy wonders, quirky townsfolk, and a variety of dishes to create and serve.

In Magical Delicacy, players assume the role of Flora, a young witch who arrives in the town of Grat to hone her magical abilities and achieve her dream of becoming a full-fledged witch. Setting up shop in the cozy harbor town, Flora prepares meals and potions for the locals, uncovering their stories and the town’s hidden secrets as she goes.

The game is available for purchase on PC via Steam, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch for $24.99 USD. It is also accessible to Xbox Game Pass holders at no additional cost

Promoted features of Magical Delicacy include:

  • Collect new recipes and ingredients through trade, questing, growing vegetables in your garden, and exploring throughout the town of Grat.
  • Learn an extensive cooking system, allowing for flexible, creative choices to fulfill even the oddest orders.
  • Build the kitchen of your dreams by commissioning new equipment to help you create even more delicious dishes.
  • Experience a wholesome linear story filled with witchy wonder and intrigue, with many optional encounters and free play opportunities.
  • Traverse a 2D platformer inspired by Metroidvanias, gain new abilities, reach new areas, and unlock shortcuts.
  • Immerse yourself in a dynamic cozy pixel art style that brings colorful characters, environments, and, of course, delicious food, to life.
