With less than a week remaining until HoYoverse release their third major free-to-play 3D game, the urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero, the developer and publisher hosted a dedicated ‘Version 1.0 Pre-Release Special Program’ livestream, bringing with it more information about content soon to be available to players, including plot content, the commercial district of Lumina Square, the adventurers’ base ‘Scott Outpost’ and soon-to-be-playable agents Lucy and Piper.
In the full global release of Zenless Zone Zero, players will not only be able to stroll through Sixth Street, but also freely explore a broader urban district — Lumina Square. Strolling around the city, players might find Bangboo who need help, Cargo Trucks hidden throughout the city with various rewards, and many more surprises. Additionally, Scott Outpost, which overlooks the massive Hollow Zero, serves as another operational base for explorers who wish to challenge themselves and defeat terrifying enemies in Hollow Zero and Shiyu Defense. To expand its services, Random Play has also opened a second floor where players can relax, play music, or customize their photo walls.
Beyond the area updates, Proxies will be able to unlock Chapter 2-Interlude, in which Officer Zhu Yuan makes her official debut and Chapter 3 of the main story where the members of Victoria Housekeeping disclose their true colors. Moreover, Lucy and Piper, new characters from the Sons of Calydon can join your squad as playable Agents, and more newly-designed Bangboo will also be ready to accompany players into combat.
HoYoverse has also confirmed that all pre-registration goals for Zenless Zone Zero have been accomplished, and therefore, all the bonuses including additional pulls will be offered to players. This is in addition to the in-game launch awards, including up to 1600 Polychromes, 70 Master Tapes, 20 Encrypted Master Tapes, and 80 Boopons. Players can obtain all the rewards by advancing their in-game progress, participating in global launch events, and experiencing numerous time-limited in-game events including Friendship Supervision and Watch Your Step.
Developed by HoYoverse, Zenless Zone Zero will be launching on the PC, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android platforms starting 4 July 2024.
