En Masse Entertainment have announced that in order to avoid a delay for the games major update being launched, they have opted to instead delay the launch of the games online store ‘Valkyon Outfitters’. This means that until the service launches in the very near future (Grand-opening announcement pending), newcomers to the now free-to-play world of TERA Online will be unable to purchase Elite status or in-game items such as mounts, costumes or accessories.

TERA: Rising is the latest update for TERA Online, an MMORPG developed by Bluehole Studio and published in North America by En Masse Entertainment. The major new feature in this update is the shift from a Pay to Play (P2P) model to a Free to Play (F2P) model along with many other game updates for gamers both old and new.
