Following the game’s release and engagement on the PC, Pugstorm and Fireshine Games have confirmed that their mining sandbox adventure game Core Keeper is headed to consoles in August 2024. Specifically, the game will be releasing on all current generation platforms – the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S (and Xbox One) and PlayStation 5 starting 27 August 2024.
While cozy and mining may not necessarily sound like a match made in heaven, Core Keeper will task players with harvesting relics and resources to build their base, craft advanced tools, and explore a dynamically evolving world waiting to be unearthed. Explore mysterious biomes, level up your skills, encounter the Cavelings, defeat legendary Titans, and unveil the power of the Core.
But among all that, you can grow your garden, fish in mysterious waters, master recipes, hatch pets, drive vehicles, and carve out your own unique adventure alone or with friends in what is pitched as an “enchanting underground sandbox”.
We are so excited for the full release of Core Keeper on consoles and PC this August. It’s been amazing to see over 2 million players discover the charm, mystery and fun of Core Keeper throughout the game’s time during Steam Early Access, and we can’t wait for even more to discover everything it has to offer with the full launch.
