Publishing label Little Nook and developer Hyper Luminal Games have announced that their narrative-adventure game Pine Hearts will be released for both Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on 23rd May. Initially revealed as a PC-only title, Pine Hearts sets out to offer a narrative that explores themes of loss, providing players a space to reflect on cherished memories in the setting of Pine Hearts Caravan Park.
In Pine Hearts, players control a character named Tyke, who embarks on a journey through the park, engaging in activities such as hiking, solving light puzzles, and interacting with other campers. The game is set in a world filled with opportunities to make new friends, partake in campfire cookouts, and relive childhood memories with Tyke’s father.
A new trailer for Pine Hearts was also released, highlighting the game’s characters, activities, and the scenic caravan park. You can view this trailer below:
The developers have emphasized the game’s accessibility features, including simplified controls, colour blocking mode, and fully remappable controls, aiming to make the game accessible to a wide range of players.
Pine Hearts will be available for £15.99/$19.99 (or local equivalent) on both platforms. A 10% discount will be offered during the first week after launch. Additionally, a special edition bundle, which includes the game, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack, will be sold for £22.99 (or again, local equivalent).
