The Yen Audio division of manga and light novel localiser and publisher Yen Press has today confirmed that an audiobook adaptation is in the works for the high school romantic comedy novel, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian (aka. Tokidoki Bosotto Roshiago de Dereru Tonari no Ārya-san | 時々ボソッとロシア語でデレる隣のアーリャさん).
Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian features an original story by Sunsunsun, and has seen four of its (currently) eight volumes localised and published by Yen Press as of writing. It is also due to receive a TV anime adaptation in July 2024, created by Doga Kobo, the animation studio behind the likes of Oshi no Ko and the upcoming Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night.
More information around the audiobook’s voice cast is expected to come at a later date, ahead of its August 2024 volume 1 release.
