The Arts Centre Melbourne is preparing for the return of RocKwiz’s Really Really Good Friday live show, scheduled for Friday, 29 March 2024. This event marks the continuation of an eight-year tradition, with the team behind the popular live music trivia quiz television show, RocKwiz, bringing an evening filled with trivia, music, and comedy to Hamer Hall.
The show will be hosted by the renowned Julia Zemiro, known for her work on Fisk and the Eurovision Song Contests, as well as her role in RocKwiz, and Brian Nankervis, familiar to audiences from ABC Radio Melbourne’s The Friday Revue. They are set to provide an entertaining start to the extended Easter weekend.
What can attendees expect? High profile comedian and musical guests, a bit of spontaneity from the audience members, the expanded RocKwiz Orkestra, and Dugald (hot and cross in a bunny suit).
For eight years, RocKwiz has been a staple in Arts Centre Melbourne’s entertainment calendar, known for its unique blend of trivia and music, intertwined with a light-hearted atmosphere. While the special guests for the evening will remain a surprise, with a mainstay such as this, I would expect some happy surprises. Audience members should also go in with a possibility of being welcomed up on-stage, and are encouraged to keep an eye out for Brian before the show quizzing and giving out Easter eggs in the Hamer Hall foyer or on St Kilda Road.
Tickets are priced between $104.00 – $134.00, inclusive, and can be purchased HERE.
