With the second half of Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 1.6 update now live, it is finally time to log in and claim your free 5-star character, Dr. Ratio, being given away in response to the awards the game won during the 2023 Video Game Awards.
Unlike the ill-fated “Guest 5-Star Banner” of Aloy in Genshin Impact, should you wish to, you will be able to continue pulling for Dr. Ratio while is banner is active, building up his Eidolons up to the maximum of Level 6. The free character will be available until Update 2.1 goes live next year, and only requires you to have unlocked the game’s mailbox feature to acquire.
To claim your free Dr. Ratio, provided you have met the requirements, all you need to do is:
Step 1: Login to your character
Step 2: Access your mailbox
Step 3: Claim your gift via the message ‘Subscription Reply from Dr. Ratio’ shown above.
Dr. Ratio, a new 5-star Imaginary-Type character from the Intelligentsia Guild, excels in combat with the ability to launch follow-up attacks based on the number of debuffs on an enemy. As you can probably tell, he has a very mathematical approach to his design, effects and nature.
