GIANTS Software is set to expand their long-running Farming Simulator franchise in 2024 with a new addition tailored for young audiences. Specifically designed for children, Farming Simulator Kids has been announced and will be launching exclusively on the Nintendo Switch during Autumn 2024.
Farming Simulator Kids is being crafted to appeal to young players, with charming and friendly aesthetics over the more realistic done of the mainline instalments. They aim to offer players a cozy farm life experience, focusing on an audiovisual presentation to engage children in an interactive and educational environment. The gameplay includes assisting virtual neighbours and anthropomorphic animal characters with various farm tasks like harvesting crops and preparing delightful sandwiches.
This game seeks to also deliver a blend of education and fun, allowing children to explore various farm locations. They can engage in activities like growing and harvesting crops, and caring for cute farm animals such as cows, chickens, and geese. Emphasizing on educational content, the game includes the operation of various farm machines, including those from the agricultural brand, John Deere, encouraging children to learn about farming in an enjoyable way.
Furthermore, aside from mini-games, Little farmers visit their own farmers’ market to get a feeling for the value of the fresh produce they grew and cared for. They can trade items at a swap shop, create delicious food items from produce, or simply chill out in their house, and meet lovable characters to interact with.
