Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters Set for Nintendo Switch Release with Exclusive Characters, and Xbox Teaser Trailer Unveiled

Idea Factory International has announced that Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters, the latest installment in the popular Neptunia action RPG series which was released on PlayStation platforms earlier this year, will be launching on the Nintendo Switch from 23 January 2024. The game will be available both physically and digitally.

The Nintendo Switch version of Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters will feature exclusive content. Players will have the chance to play as Maho and Anri, characters unique to this release. Why they were not playable in the original release is beyond me, but that is the way it has gone. Additionally, the Digital Deluxe Edition for the Switch will include exclusive Swimsuit DLC. Fans eager to secure their copy can pre-order the physical standard edition via the Idea Factory International Online Store (or enquire at their local video game retailer) or opt for digital copies through the Nintendo eShop.

In parallel, Idea Factory International has also released a teaser trailer for the Xbox version of Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters (See the video to the left). This trailer gives fans a sneak peek at the Swimsuit Outfits, adding an extra layer of excitement to the upcoming game. The Xbox version, compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One X|S, and Xbox One, will include the Swimsuit Outfits in-game instead of being a Digital Deluxe Edition exclusive. However, a release date for the Xbox version is yet to be announced.

In Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters, players assume the role of the Goddess Candidates, led by Nepgear. The story unfolds as they awaken from a two-year slumber to find Gamindustri facing the ominous Trendi Phenomenon. During their absence, the citizens have become reliant on the rPhone, a new device, as they remain confined to their homes due to monster threats. The game challenges players to collaborate with both new and familiar faces to avert the destruction of Gamindustri.
