While most well known as a video game development and publishing house, Square Enix also dabbles in the publishing space. As part of their Square Enix Book imprints, the company has confirmed that the first English-language print editions of The Apothecary Diaries, the light novel written by Natsu Hyuuga and featuring illustrations by Touko Shino.
Volume 1 will be released in May 2024, and shall feature full-color art inserts and black-and-white illustrations throughout. According to Square Enix, these are “collectors’ quality trade paperback editions’, and feature translations produced in collaboration with J-Novel Club.
