US-based anime streaming platform HIDIVE has confirmed they will be simulcasting The Eminence in Shadow’s Second Season when it commences airing as part of Japan’s Fall 2023 anime season. But not only are they aiming to offer the episode subbed day-and-date with the Japanese broadcast but, in a first for HIDIVE, also offering episodes dubbed into English simultaneously.
HIDIVE will be offering a sneak peek of The Eminence in Shadow 2nd Season as part of this weekend’s Anime Expo 2023 in Los Angeles. They are planning to host a world premiere of not only the first episode English dubbed, but also the world premiere of the episode with Japanese audio (and English subtitles). Special screenings are planned for 1 July 2023 (subbed) and 4 July 2023 (dubbed).
About The Eminence in Shadow 2nd Season
Everything has been going according to plan, but the hour of awakening draws near. Cid Kageno and Shadow Garden investigate the Lawless City, a cesspool where the red moon hangs low in the sky and three powerful monarchs rule the streets. The true draw for Cid, however, is one who can draw blood–the Blood Queen, a vampire who has slumbered in her coffin for eons. Her awakening approaches, and Cid could finally face a day of reckoning.
