Merge Games has announced a collaboration with Humble Games, through which they will release physical versions of the game Mineko’s Night Market for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. Aiming to be a heart-warming adventure and a “wholesome slice of life” game, the game sets out to immerse players in a delightful adventure in a small Japanese town that is facing hardships. In this town, the inhabitants have a deep-rooted belief in superstitions and hold cats in high regard.
Mineko’s Night Market allows players to embrace and celebrate Japanese culture. They can engage in crafting various imaginative items for the town’s weekly Night Market, relish a wide array of snacks, and befriend numerous cats residing on Mt. Fugu. With exploration opportunities, intriguing quests, and the ability to explore the environment across all four seasons, Mineko’s Night Market positions itself as a “highly anticipated social simulation indie adventure” game.
The physical versions of Mineko’s Night Market are set to be available across Europe and North America. They will be stocked in select retail outlets on both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 platforms. Furthermore, Mineko’s Night Market is open for pre-orders. As an added incentive, early pre-orders come with a special bonus. Customers who place their orders ahead of time will receive two enamel pins featuring Mineko and Nikko, the game’s characters. This offer is available for a limited period and can be availed through an exclusive arrangement with Signature Edition Games.
