Team17 Digital in collaboration with Glee-Cheese have unveiled a new rhythm-based battle royale game titled Headbangers Rhythm Royale. The announcement of this game was made during the Future Games Show over the weekend, and is set to deliver its own take on the battle royale style of gameplay. It is expected to release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in the near future.
Headbangers Rhythm Royale is pitched as a quirky game where players control pigeons in a competition against 29 others across four escalating rounds. These rounds test players on various aspects such as memory, rhythm, reflexes, and reaction time, with an unconventional twist of rap battles.
One of the key features of Headbangers Rhythm Royale is its crossplay-enabled multiplayer mode, which allows players to connect and play with friends regardless of the platform they are using. This ensures that no pigeon is left behind, as players from different gaming platforms can participate in the rhythmic mayhem together.
