Hogwarts Legacy (Finally) Launches on PS4 and Xbox One

For those who haven’t made the jump to current generation consoles, now if your chance to dive into the Wizarding World a hundred years before the time of Harry Potter, in Hogwarts Legacy. Warner Bros Games. and developer Avalanche Software has today released the open-world, action RPG onto PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

This follows the game’s February 2023 launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, which according to the publisher has sold over 15 million units and generated $1 billion in global sales since launch.

Set in the magical world of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Legacy invites players to experience life as a fifth-year student at the famed wizarding school, where they will discover a rare ability to harness ancient, powerful magic. Throughout their adventure, players will be guided by the Wizard’s Field Guide and receive unique instruction from professors and other characters in order to unravel a captivating storyline filled with challenges and mysteries.

Developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games under the Portkey Games label, Hogwarts Legacy offers an original story that places players at the heart of their own magical adventure – including the creation of their own Hogwarts student who is at the centre of everything.
