Available today for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms, gamers curious about the experience soon to be offered by Ryu ga Gotoku Studio’s Like a Dragon: Ishin! can now download a demo version via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace respectively.
Pitched as a ‘Combat Demo’, this demo sets out to “let aspiring samurai explore two action-packed segments of the game. Players can face off against enemies at Kiyomizu Temple, and then go toe to toe with three armoured warriors. It sounds like this will be a rather short demo, and does not appear to have any save data transferable over to the final release.
Furthermore, SEGA has confirmed that Xbox and PlayStation players who subscribe to the SEGA newsletter will also receive access to two exclusive in-game weapons upon the game’s release: the Bonechewer Katana and the Waterdrop Katana.
Of course, if you just want to wait until Like a Dragon: Ishin!’s full release, don’t fret, as it will be arriving on 21 February 2023 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
