Information on the newly announced Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games were not the only things unveiled earlier today around the media franchise. For those who are still immersed in Pokémon Legends: Arceus on the Nintendo Switch, you can now boot up your console and download the ‘Daybreak’ Update
In the Daybreak update, Trainers will begin investigating mysterious mass outbreaks of Pokémon that are popping up all over the Hisui region. Players will also have a chance to battle powerful opponents—like Legendary Pokémon and wardens—adding yet more options to the Pokémon battle experience. The content in this update is free to access for all players, but, will only be accessible after completing the main game and viewing the end credits.
The Pokémon Company also confirmed that an online animated series set in the Hisui region has entered production, to launch later in 2022. No specifics outside of it featuring an original storyline have been shared.
