Series 1-4 of Amiibo Cards for Animal Crossing has been out of stock for years, but with the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizon Version 2.0, bringing with it the final post-launch content for the game, Nintendo are giving fans one more chance to get their mittens on some of these cards. As of this week, Series 5 Animal Crossing amiibo cards are now available from select online and physical retailers while stocks last. And yes, you may finally have the chance to nab yourself the adorable business-cat Raymond (Like I did – see above) for yourself.
Each individual amiibo card pack is available for purchase separately at a suggested retail price of $5.99 USD (or local equivalent) and includes three cards (2x Villager and 1x special) in each pack. Series 5 encompasses a selection of 48 characters total, including a few familiar faces, new characters and characters never before seen in amiibo card form.
So whether you want the science-mouse Petri, the dapper Raymond, the newly introduced Sailor squirrel Ione or the lovable Audie – luck may be in your favour… or not. It is currently unclear just how much stock will be made available officially, before it ends up on Ebay at potentially increased prices.
