During last weekend’s ‘Spike Video Game Awards’, Naughty Dog took to the stage to debut the new story trailer for ‘The Last of Us’ on the Playstation 3.
They hope that ‘The Last of Us’ will be a genre-defining experience which belds survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population by a modern plague. Cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature. Remaining survivors are killing each other for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a young teenage girl who’s braver and wiser beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States.
Sony Computer Entertainment Australia have also confirmed that The Last of Us is set to launch on the 7th May 2013 across PAL regions.
