Sometimes an ordinary trailer just won’t cut it for promoting a game, and while it remains uncommon there seems to be a slowly increasing number of interactive trailers being released by companies. These trailers show you a scene from a game, and then give you several options representing valid (or theoretically bad) choices to make during normal gameplay and show you the outcome of these actions.
The latest interactive trailer has been released by Bethesda Softworks for their upcoming release of Dishonored beginning next week on the PC, Playstation 3 and XBox360. You can begin your journey from the video above.
Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine supernatural abilities with weapons and gadgets at your disposal. Pursue your targets under the cover of darkness or ruthlessly attack them head on with weapons drawn. The outcome of each mission plays out based on the choices you make.
