Looking at the below screenshots, it seems that they have most certainly improved the Crystarium system, by both having one chart for all the classes instead of one for each of the classes and other things which should give you a greater degree of freedom towards your characters development – especially considering Serah and Noel are the characters you will not want to screw up.
