The Bristol-based video game publisher PQube have brought several niche Japanese titles to the western market in recent years, but this latest one is their most surprising to date. Developed by Inti Creates, the company have released on-rails shooter Gal*Gun: Double Peace onto the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, a sequel to the still Japan-exclusive Gal*Gun. It is now available in PAL markets, with a North American set to begin their Doki-Doki powered experience from August 2nd 2016.
Gal*Gun sees you take control of a young man who is shot by a cupid angel. While cupids are traditionally set to bring people love, this cupid ultimately causes every female in the vicinity of the protagonist to go wild for him. He must now survive an onslaught of smitten Academy girls who are frantically trying to declare their love to him. Now under pressure, he must find their true love and confess to her before the day is over… or risk being forever alone.
Gal*Gun: Double Peace is a fanservice-laden game, with one of its more unique features being the number of panty designs the developers added for its characters. Therefore, it may not be an appropriate game for younger audiences. However, those looking for such an experience merged with an on-rails shooter, this may be a game to consider.
Gal*Gun: Double Peace is now available in PAL regions on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, with both digital and physical versions available to players.
