[E3 2016] Fallout 4 to Be Expanded by At Least Three More Downloadable Content Packs

Like many other open world action-RPG’s developed by Bethesda Softworks, Fallout 4 has received brand new official content through optional paid downloadable content.

To date there has been three content releases published from March to May: Automatron (Which included robot building), Wasteland Workshop (Which allowed the capturing and taming of creatures) and Far Harbor (Which was the first major story-oriented update, introducing a large new area to explore).

Development still continues, with Bethesda Softworks announcing that three new packs are on their way over the coming months. More information on each of these three packs can be found below:

Contraptions Workshop

As the title indicates, this pack is about working with machines to varying capacities. According to Bethesda, this pack will see players using “conveyer belts, scaffolding kits, track kits, even logic gates to construct crazy and complex gadgets”, which can be placed within their settlements. Other content includes levators, greenhouse kits, warehouse kits, fireworks and armor racks.

Always dreamed of building your own vault? This content pack will allow you to craft a massive vault, and then attract new Dwellers using “pre-war industrial kits complete with retro-nostalgic furniture, lighting, and art”. Although time will tell just how extensive this system actually is, it will be possible to edit the appearance of the inhabitants through barbershops and cosmetic surgery stations. But as you will be Overseer of this newly crafted vault… you can also run experiments on the populace.

This sixth downloadable content pack is similar in scope to Far Harbor last month, as it unlocks new quests, regions to explore, new equipment to acquire and more. Players are invited to take a trip to Nuka-World, a once vast theme park which has fallen into the hands of Raiders over the years. You will be able to explore an all-new region which merges open wasteland with themed zones including “Safari Adventure”, “Dry Rock Gulch”, “Kiddie Kingdom” and more.
