Spike Chunsoft has announced that STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT will be released in North America and Europe in 2026. The game is a revisited version of the original STEINS;GATE, first launched in 2009 for Xbox 360, with updated visuals and revised content, in hopes of offering an enhanced experience for both new players and returning fans.
STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT will offer refined character illustrations by original designer huke. Event stills have also been reworked under huke’s supervision to match the updated visuals. In addition to updated character designs, the backgrounds in the visual novel will offer a depiction of Akihabara as it appeared in 2010.
Fans can wishlist STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT on Steam, with the game set to be released by Spike Chunsoft in 2026.
