Aksys Games has released Despera Drops, a romantic visual novel now available for Nintendo Switch. The story follows Mika Amamine, a university student who becomes entangled in a murder case while visiting Rome in the summer of 2028. Wrongly accused, Mika escapes custody alongside six other fugitives after a police transport accident, only to find herself pursued by both authorities and a mysterious group seeking her unique powers.
Set against the backdrop of Italy, Despera Drops seeks to combine elements of suspense, romance, and mystery as Mika and her companions attempt to uncover the truth behind the murder, the identity of their attackers, and the secret of Mika’s abilities, all while seeking a return to normal life.
