In addition to opening pre-orders for their upcoming release of Rance 03, MangaGamer has also released Beat Valkyrie Ixseal, the latest entry in Alicesoft’s Beat series, now available for purchase at $44.95 USD. This visual novel blends fantasy, turn-based combat, and raising simulation elements, following an unlikely alliance between a self-proclaimed Demon King and a stranded valkyrie.
Like their other AliceSoft releases, Beat Valkyrie Ixseal is an R18+ exclusive title featuring no mosaics over the “naughty bits”. Furthermore, it is fully voiced in Japanese, with the usual exception of the main character.
The story follows Oudou Tsuguhiko, a student who believes himself to be the reincarnation of the Demon King. Just as he regains his powers, he is attacked by the valkyrie Ixseal and betrayed by his own Demonic Chancellor Bezel, who steals most of his dark abilities. Left with only the power of Lust, Tsuguhiko is forced into an uneasy partnership with Ixseal, who has also been stranded on Earth, unable to return to the heavens. With Bezel’s army, the Wargrim, threatening the world, the two must work together—using the power of Lust to restore Ixseal’s strength and fight back against the demonic forces.
