Wishlisting for the Digital Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition will open at a later date. Villion:Code is set in a near future where humanity is close to extinction. The Adhvan Resilience School was founded to stand against the coming disaster, but the academy city was attacked by monstrous creatures called GEMs. To protect itself, the city sealed itself inside a mysterious bubble, leaving no way out. Those trapped inside must face the weight of their own sins while trying to uncover the truth behind the anomaly surrounding the city.
Exploration centres on the Sankhara Space Time, a set of randomly generated, 360-degree tube-shaped dungeons inspired by the Ten Evils of Buddhism. Players battle GEMs and work through obstacles as they move through Adhvan City.
Characters fight using Genome Arms, mutated weapons that each have their own attack traits, and can switch between melee and ranged combat to string together combos. Ampules collected in dungeons can be used to create Genome Cubes, which can be strengthened further with EX Factors found in dungeons and shops. These boost base stats, grant extra bonuses and unlock passive skills. The story unfolds through Conversation and Investigation events featuring Kuvshinov’s artwork, with quick decisions that can affect what happens next.
