Rayman and Barbara will be dressing up for launch day. Ubisoft has revealed new baguette outfits for both characters in Rayman Legends Retold, a playful tribute to another game made in Montpellier – Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – and they will be available to all players from launch.
Ubisoft describes the costumes as a nod from one French studio to another, celebrating the creativity and French flair it sees in the country’s games industry. The outfits aims to lean into the light-hearted humour of the Rayman series, while quietly honouring a game that the development team holds in high regard.
Rayman Legends Retold is co-led by Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan, and reimagines the original Rayman Legends with new content and story twists. It features fast-paced platforming, couch co-op for up to four players and an improved version of the Kung Foot mode for head-to-head play.
Rayman Legends Retold launches on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC on 3 December 2026, with the baguette outfits available from day one.
