Two of cinema’s iconic high school comedies are heading into The Sims 4, with EA announcing the Mean Girls Capsule Kit and the Clueless Capsule Kit – both set to release later this month.
The Mean Girls Capsule Kit (based on the 2004 film Mean Girls) draws from the Y2K era, offering a wardrobe built around mixing and matching rather than a single fixed look. Items referenced in the announcement include miniskirts with matching sweaters, a festive matching hat suited to a jingle bell performance, Mathletes team jackets and a velour track suit.
Running alongside it, the Clueless Capsule Kit (based on the 1995 film Clueless) shifts the focus to 1990s fashion drawn from the film. Cher’s plaid set anchors the collection, joined by more casual everyday pieces, layered tops, button-front skirts, workout wear and overalls inspired by Tai. As with its counterpart, the emphasis is on combining pieces to build individual looks.
Both kits will be available across the same platform lineup, covering PC and Mac via the EA app, Epic Games Store and Steam, as well as PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
