Continuing to offer Elden Ring on new platforms and with slightly revised experiences, Bandai Namco Entertainment and FROM Software has released ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2, marking the first release of FromSoftware’s open world action RPG series on a Nintendo platform. The package includes the original base game release, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion and a few other small content additions.
Players can explore the Lands Between in handheld or docked mode, travelling on foot or riding the Spectral Steed Torrent. Shadow of the Erdtree extends the adventure into the Realm of Shadow, where players follow in the footsteps of Miquella.
The Tarnished Edition also introduces two starting classes, the Heavy Knight and Idus Knight, alongside four armour sets that include equipment for both new classes. Three appearance options for Torrent have also been added, allowing players to customise the mount for the first time. This new content is available separately as the Tarnished Pack for existing ELDEN RING players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
