World of Warcraft: Midnight players can now continue the fallout from the March on Quel’Danas raid, with the Revelations content update, 12.0.7, now live. The update sees the Void’s forces continue their assault on Azeroth while setting up the next stretch of Midnight’s story, including new activities, quests and locations for players to explore.
Among the additions are two new daily activity areas, Naigtal and Val. Access to these locations will rotate weekly through a portal, with each area offering daily activities such as rare enemies, world quests and other objectives. Players can also choose between Normal and Heroic difficulties when taking part in these zones. Revelations also introduces Sporefall, a new raid built around a confrontation with the fungal giant Rotmire. The encounter gives players the chance to earn spore-fused gear and also debuts a more flexible approach to Mythic difficulty, allowing groups of 15 to 25 players rather than the usual fixed 20 player requirement.
Another major addition is the Omnium Folio, a new system centred on a runic ledger filled with runes of power that can be used in battle. Players will need to complete weekly activities to earn more runes and upgrade them to their maximum potential.
Lorewalking also returns with a focus on the Loa, the wild gods revered by Azeroth’s troll races. This new chapter marks Apprentice Lorewalker Li Li’s storytelling debut, with players revisiting key quest moments tied to the Loa.
A new Turbulent Timeways event is also planned for after the launch of Revelations. This event will add Dragonflight dungeons to the rotation, while players who complete the multi-week Turbulent Timeways V achievement will earn the Spawn of Vyranoth mount.
For a limited time, Revelations will also include the WoW Goal in-game activity. A vendor in Silvermoon City will offer Alliance and Horde tabards, along with a soccer toy, giving players a way to represent their faction’s colours. By scoring goals, players can unlock décor items such as framed faction tabards and a trophy.
Looking further ahead, the World of Warcraft team has also shared an early look at Midnight’s first major content update, Curse of Ula’tek, version 12.1. Set on the Coiled Isle, an island off the coast of Zul’Aman, the update will explore more of the ancient mysteries surrounding the Amani trolls. Details on Curse of Ula’tek were shared in a new WoWCast video, which offers an initial look at what players can expect from the update, including the Season 2 raid and Mythic+ dungeon pool.
