Microsoft’s Xbox team has commenced testing on a suite of updates focused on the Xbox Achievements system, with initial access granted to select Xbox Insiders. These developments come as a response to community feedback, offering new tools for players to showcase and organise their gaming accomplishments.
The update sets out to deliver a significant visual refresh to achievement notifications. This includes redesigned icons and animations, along with the ability for users to personalise the look of these notifications using specific colour themes.
Functionality to hide individual games from a player’s profile is also expected to launch later in April 2026. This feature allows users to remove specific titles from their visible Achievement history to maintain a more curated list – and remove those games that litter your profile that you may have only loaded and never delved into. Despite being hidden from the profile view, these games will still contribute to the overall Gamerscore total and will still be tracked across the broader Xbox service.
Completionists will see the introduction of 100% completion highlights, which clearly mark games that have been fully finished. To support the growing list of features, Xbox has implemented new filtering tools within the interface. These filters are designed to help players navigate their library more efficiently by isolating completed or hidden titles.
