Developer Paidotribo, in partnership with publisher indie.io, has released a playable demo for Mini Worlds Dioramas on Steam. This title is a sandbox building game that tasks players with constructing detailed miniature scenes without the constraints of traditional simulation objectives.
The gameplay in Mini Worlds Dioramas diverges from standard management sims by removing resource management, optimization systems, and winning conditions. Instead, they seek to offer an experience centered entirely on the construction and personalization of small-scale environments. Users can drag and drop a variety of assets, including buildings, vegetation, props, people, and animals, into the scene. The interface allows for the resizing and repositioning of these elements to suit the player’s preference.
The newly released demo features a guided tutorial designed to introduce the core tools and building systems. The content available in this trial version is centered on a “Far West” theme, providing assets suitable for creating frontier-inspired landscapes. Players can populate their scenes with specific figures such as horses and cats. Additionally, the software includes options to adjust atmospheric elements, allowing users to modify lighting, environmental settings, and background music to match their visual design.
The game also comes with a Flight Mode, switching the player’s perspective to a cinematic free-camera view, enabling players to navigate through their diorama smoothly. This mode is designed to allow users to view their constructions from multiple angles and inspect the details of the world they have assembled.
