During The Game Awards 2025, Capcom provided a definitive release schedule for their long-in-development sci-fi action title, PRAGMATA. The developer and publisher has confirmed that the game is scheduled to launch on 24 April 2026. Alongside the release date, a new trailer provided an additional sneak peek at the game, and confirmation that a Nintendo Switch 2 version is actively in development. This new version will launch day-and-date alongside the previously announced PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam versions.
For those interested in experiencing the gameplay mechanics immediately, Capcom has released a ‘Sketchbook Demo’ starting today. This trial version is currently available exclusively on PC via Steam. The publisher has stated that the demo includes specific challenges designed to encourage repeat playthroughs. A demo for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 is planned, but will be released at a later date.
Pre-orders for PRAGMATA have opened today across all platforms. Capcom detailed the incentives for early adopters, which include a ‘Neo Bushido’ outfit for the character Hugh and a ‘Neo Kunoichi’ costume for Diana.
A Deluxe Edition will also be available at launch. This edition includes the ‘Shelter Variety Pack’, a collection of digital content containing alternate outfits for Hugh and Diana, a weapon skin, character emotes for Diana, additional background music for the Shelter hub area, and an in-game library featuring 75 pieces of digital artwork. An amiibo version of Diana is also in development for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
