Blizzard has set a global launch for World of Warcraft: Midnight, the second chapter in the Worldsoul Saga, with servers going live on 3 March 2026. It has also been confirmed that a roll-out of Version 11.2.7 titled ‘The Warning’, will go live on 3 December 2025, providing early access to the housing system for players who have pre-purchased World of Warcraft: Midnight.
As part of the early roll out, Blizzard is tying in cross game rewards for completing the housing welcome questline and earning the Welcome Home achievement in World of Warcraft. Rewards include the following:
- Hearthstone: Hearth & Home card back
- Overwatch 2: Xal’atath Symmetra skin, spray and name card, plus the Dark Heart player icon
- Diablo Immortal: Sin’dorei Portal
- StarCraft II: Horde and Alliance themed console skins
Players who have purchased any edition of Midnight can access the new Housing feature early, joining a neighbourhood, choosing a house and beginning to customise interiors. Those without Midnight can still start building a housing collection through in game activities, achievements and vendors across Azeroth – but just cannot use them.
Blizzard Entertainment has also shared the three versions of World of Warcraft: Midnight that will be available, each providing an increased number of perks, alongside an increased price:
Base Edition: Includes World of Warcraft: The War Within, early access to the new Housing feature, an Enhanced Level 80 Character Boost with upgraded gear and reputation progress, and 500 Trader’s Tender.
Heroic Edition: Includes everything in the Base Edition, plus the Lightwing Dragonhawk flying mount, the Lightstrider Raiment transmog set and a total of 1,000 Trader’s Tender.
Epic Edition: Includes everything in the Heroic Edition, plus Beta Access and 3 days Early Access to Midnight, 30 days of game time, Hopeflutter and Doomfeathers pets, the Voidlight Surger flying mount with colour shifting effects, the Voidwing Dragonhawk mount, the Voidstrider Raiment transmog set, the Midnight Housing Pack with Rotundas, Fountains and character paintings, and a total of 2,000 Trader’s Tender.
