Capcom has opened pre orders for Monster Hunter Stories 3 Twisted Reflection, well ahead of their planned 13 March 2026 release of the spin-off game on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A new trailer accompanied the announcement with a broader look at the escalating conflict between the kingdoms of Azuria and Vermeil and the threat moving across the land.
But the main thing that came with the pre-orders opening was – love such things or hate them – the special editions and pre-order bonuses to be offered.
Early purchasers receive a cosmetic bonus: Eleanor the Skyscale Queen layered armour, which can be equipped via the Change Companion Outfits option once it becomes available in game.
Meanwhile, three editions are planned. The Standard Edition includes the base game. The Deluxe Edition adds the Deluxe Kit that bundles an additional side story titled Rudy’s Tale scheduled for Autumn 2026 and the Special Outfit Set with companion layered armour, extra Rudy outfits, and player hair options. The Premium Deluxe Edition includes everything from the Deluxe Edition plus a separate cosmetic DLC pack with additional companion layered armour, hair options, and Rudy outfits. It should be noted however, that the cosmetic DLC pack will be sold individually – whether at launch or at a later date.
For those looking to catch up, Capcom is bringing Monster Hunter Stories and Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings of Ruin to Xbox One on 14 November 2025. Both titles are also available now as a discounted bundle on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
