Night Council Studio and publisher SelectaPlay have confirmed that their psychological survival horror Dark Atlas: Infernum will be releasing on 14 November 2025. A free playable demo is available now on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest and on PlayStation 5, offering an early look at its first person horror.
In Dark Atlas: Infernum, players take on the role of Natalia Asensio, Grand Master of a secret esoteric order. As reality buckles and interdimensional threats leak into the world, Natalia awakens in a dust filled basement, drugged and disoriented, with disembodied voices feeding her cryptic instructions. The story leans into both physical and psychological danger, positioning every step as a choice between survival and spiralling madness.
Dark Atlas: Infernum aims to frame its gameplay around caution rather than combat. Stealth and strategy are central, with an emphasis on staying hidden, using darkness and reading environments to avoid enemies. This is complemented by providing what they hope will be an oppressive atmosphere built through interconnected indoor and outdoor spaces, detailed environmental design, and a soundscape crafted to unsettle.
