THQ Nordic and developer Purple Lamp have announced SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, a single-player 3D platform adventure heading to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on 18 November 2025.
Set after a clash of egos between the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune, the story sends Bikini Bottom into spectral turmoil. Players can swap instantly between SpongeBob and Patrick, using each character’s unique abilities to solve puzzles, battle bosses and explore locations such as Neptune’s Palace, the Ghost Ship Graveyard and Mount Bikini. Purple Lamp promises platforming challenges, collectible-driven exploration and a tone that mixes light spooky vibes with the series’ trademark humour.
Digital pre-orders are live now. All pre-orders include the Natural Costume Pack as a bonus. Three digital editions are available:

The Tidal Season Pass will also be sold separately. It adds two challenge-focused DLC packs – Plankton’s Portal Challenge and Search for SquarePants – along with two themed costume packs.
